My brother-in-law bought a Scissor lift and I asked to set it up in the pasture next to a pine. Gonna sit tomorrow morning in that with my boy on last morning of youth hunt :fingerscrossed::bananadance:5F5F8E52-AF51-45D2-8256-1E36DD3221D3.jpg

The only time I've missed having 4wd was when 4wd vehicles forced me to stop on a slope. As long as I can keep my speed up, not having 4wd hasn't been an issue.

I guess it all depends where you live .

Since this was back in the seventies Job sites have changed so much now you are washing vehicles wheels and under carriages before your allowed on the public roads .

Today Gravel roads are built before any major construction even starts.

If I did not have a 4x4 I would need to park 500' away just off the public road to be able to get out once the first snowfall made my driveway into a Bob Sled Run. Since every day I left in the dark I was lucky to get home before dark.

100% my choice to live in the Woods

I've had a bunch of tiny flies in the house for a few weeks and I've tried various things to kill the buggers but it's not working.

I'm both pleased and repulsed to announce that the source of the larvae has been discovered and they're being eradicated with screaming hot water and a good scrubbing as we speak.

    Drain moth?

When I first met my wife she had a 2wd Mazda B2000. With dedicated winter snow tires with studs it got around OK, oh with a little weight in the back too.
I'm rotating tires and fluid level checks today. Not all of them though. 2 down so far. Looks like my Impala is starting to use more oil. It's gone through a quart and a half in little over 5k miles. Car has a little over 175k miles on it. I used a different oil last change....make a difference :notsure:

Luckily, I've never had to use my POV for work except for getting to/from the office. Company vehicles for anything work related.

I've lived places that get snow, but it rarely hangs around for more than a day or two and typically isn't more than a few inches.

We have a rubber tray under the dog's food and water bowls because our bulldog makes a mess. They were hanging out under the water bowl.

Just more coughing and phlegm than usual currently. I'm vaxxed, so hopefully it won't get too bad.

We used to have a Neater Feeder for the dog, thank goodness she outgrew it! That thing would get nasty.
