Dusting of snow so far here in Michigan this morning.
Getting coffee in me now.
When motel management get here today, we need a refrigerator that works. I brought one with me but we need 2. The room is supposed to have one afterall.
I figured cost for us to stay is $30.00 a night each seems cheap enough to me, I'll go buy another one if they don't.

Morning all! Whole family has been sick since Friday. I'm finally starting to feel a little bit better.. just in time to go back to work

 

Boo!!!

 

The maintenance guy at the motel brought us a brand new refrigerator, a larger one even! Snaked the tub drain because it was backing up
He was a younger guy, small talk a bit...he said he been quit drinking since November last year, took Antabuse for problem. I told him life only gets better. He said he left Detroit to get away from heroine and meth addicts but the problem is bad here too. He said the motel had a heroine overdose last week.
I give him $25.00 tip and said stay the course.

 

Good on you, friend. Always there to lend a hand to someone who’s tryin’ to pull up his socks. Pray it made a difference.

Brings back a interesting day . Storm dropped 20 plus inches of snow .

I was at that truck stop outside on the phone long before cell phones the exit ramps were a sheet of ice .

Freight hauler is going way to fast off the right shoulder into the grass(snow) I think the deep snow helped keep the truck up right .

I tell my boss if this call goes dead I might be also the truck stopped about 50' away

 

My boys love that Power Wagon! We make a point of stopping there whenever we're headed back from WI.

As much as I wanted em to win I’m glad to see Cincinnati in it.
