Morning crew and happy Friday. Today is my first of eleven off.
Little pest cat is making it difficult to post. She's something else about craving attention.
I have darn follow-up appointment with my Eye Dr today, the glaucoma specialist. Not a ideal way to start off a vacation/ break from work but don't want to be blind (more than I am).
I have high hopes of getting the '68 Corvette fired up during my time off.
Other than that??
I would like to install a new water heater but the last time shopping them, seems they're all hi-tech bluetooth this n that, auto water shut-off leak detection stuff. I just want a plain 40gal Tall water heater

I know a few girls from high school that will look like that when they get old.

I had those in my cart for a while, then I lucked out and found one of the yellow/white National Luna lights on sale and grabbed it. I have it mounted inside my topper and holy cow it’s bright, even on the lowest setting!

Good luck at the eye doctors. FWIW, I’ve been dealing with glaucoma since my mid 20s. It’s very treatable with medication, I haven’t lost any field of view after all these years of being on the meds.

Good luck with the Vette too!

 

Happy Friday Lime Green Crew! Hope you have a safe and blessed weekend! I'm gonna be on the river, unfortunately with some rather, annoying relatives. I'm setting the bar low so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. I took Tuesday off just in case I need an after vacation day.

 

Thanks @Cwopinger started using eye drops a couple years ago at the most. Earlier this year Dr suggested a laser surgery for my left eye because the pressure was still elevated. This appointment is follow up. Bummer deal is just a month ago was the first time that I was unable to pass the close up eye test even with cheaters. Just the left eye, and that's the one with very slight peripheral vision lost.
I got to wondering if that's how I managed to back into that darn mailbox a month ago

 

This gave me a good laugh. I was working aoutageout of state and one of the supplemental employees had his RV at a clothing optional RV Park. Anyhow...he said this gal come b-boping up..introduce herself..."they call me Tumbleweed "

Anyways the way he described the appearance was much like person pictured.
Of course us being the fine gents we are..had to tease him on a daily basis..
Hey! You have dinner with Tumbleweed last night? Etc, etc
