stitches were a rite of passage ! When school started you showed the ones you earned over the summer.

Mom would have loved Super Glue though she was rather good with the needle till I got out of School.

I am not sure between the Dogs and Horses I may have had more.

This little guy decided to make his entrance 11 days early. Trip to the hospital in the middle of the night but all are doing well.

Here's today's latest safety violation. Old timer millwright and I were repairing a broken wire to a contact in a 480 volt box. I asked the old timer if he had his multimeter to see if said wire was live. (14 gauge signal wire, not the main 480.) He goes "nah, don't need it" and swipes the exposed copper of the broken wire across a ground bolt. Just about scared the shit out of me since we just had arc flash re-training. Thankfully the wire was indeed dead. Repaired the connection and got the hell out of there just shaking my head.

Is it live? and if so
    what breaker feeds it

    That’s crazy!

Years ago we had a manual lathe, 3 phase. One of the contacts went out in it. Old guy we knew came to work on it, he unhooks one of them with about 8-12 wires on it, pulls it out, says “dang, that’s the wrong one”. Took him over an hour to get it back in because he didn’t take a picture or mark anything. Had to go by the wiring diagram :D
