Good morning friends, it’s my Friday at the machine shop. Took tomorrow off, wife has to go to the doctor in the a.m. and we don’t have much going on at the shop. Cole and I are going to trim some trees over where we hunt after she gets back and takes over the store.

Are you part of a road crew in different places every job??

Then a Meter for sure in the same building for 10 years sometimes I know I cheat .

Though plant electricians at one job had no idea Part of the building was 230 3 phase the new addition was 460 3 phase with a new service So many motors and other equipment just quit working when moved around .

Everything was hard wired into disconnects interesting day

Both are doing very good. Hope to get out of here today and back home to our other 2 kids. Been rough not being able to have them visit other than though a window.

i pulled apart the contact box on my 13” colchester when I first got it to see what I could do to run it the cheapest way possible. It has a 3 phase 2 speed motor with forward and reverse all in one enclosure, but there are 3 contactors in there, all of them have the same color wire. Needless to say I bought an $80 eBay VFD and control everything with that.

Thanks, yeah we've actually known since my wife was just barely pregnant. We were trying, so she was watching out for it. Just hoping #2 is as awesome as my daughter (so far) lol
