I’m always making things for the truck and other projects.
Here is custom skid I made for another member, 3/16 mild steel, CNC Plasma cut.

 

That's a nice, heavy skid plate

 

My preference would be to finish turn the bushing to interference requirements. Surely motorcycle guy could handle it

 

It was a .001" press, it was tight! Had to put it in the 20 ton press to get it in.

 

Powdercoat is pretty, and free

 

Powdercoat guy and I trade stuff out, I do welding for him, he paints for me

A contract/supplemental machinist that helped me last outage...one of the most fun guys ever to work with, extremely talented machinist. I hope that he shows up again and that his health and ambition allows him to. He was 71 yrs old I believe
