    Weed killer went down on the "flower beds" yesterday and will get re-mulched in a couple weeks.

    I just used triple 19 fertilizer last July I want to say? That's kept it good even till now. Right now we're already on the verge of a drought so I don't dare put anything down. The key is to apply your lawn treatment in wetter times. It will burn the crap out of your lawn in dryer times, even watering the products in.

    I don't water my lawn. My 1000 gallon cistern and shallow well could not keep up with the amount of lawn I have in dry times.

    At home the grass is tough farm field that has been mowed for decades - it grows relentlessly even in the dry years...

    I also mow the front and side yard by the garage with the Honda self-propelled. It takes twice as long, but that mower mows so darn nice! Figure I'll do it till my knees or hips tell me no more...
