Yep, you look at the checking account and say "hey, I've got some extra in there" :) --- and then you go to the mailbox and find that bonus bill... :pout:

    Howdy friends.
Got the riding mower put back together, some more of the deck replacement done and round 2 now of filling up the swimming pool. Yesterday we decided the liner was too far off from centered so drain it all back out and trying again.:bananadead:

Yes! That's a female they named Oatmeal. She's usually pretty stand-offish but I approach her shortly before the picture and she lay there and let me pet her. So yeah..she must have been x-tra comfy:)

    Goodmorning crew.
Yeah it would be nice to have it filled with water more quickly. I have 2 garden hose going in it and it really cuts down inside water pressure. As of this morning I believe the liner is going to be good / centered well enough this time. Back of my mind I wonder if she purchased the correct depth for 21' diameter pool. There's not near as much liner overhang as the original.
One thing when we bought the pool originally, I insisted we buy a heater for it too, the heater allows for a couple extra months of enjoyment. I usually don't get in the thing more than a few times a summer. It's more of the wife, daughter and their friends thing and to sun on the deck. Keeps them happy.

I don't believe you will ever find a Kawasaki engine on a cheap machine.
Directly I don't have much experience with them - most of the stuff I have is past tech remember - AKA: old. ;)
This is a question for the mower master: @koditten

The commercial mower brands that I have looked seriously at, Wright & Hustler, use the FS model on their entry level machines and the FX model on the upper range ones. Ferris, Toro and Scag use them as well, all these brands are $$$ leaders in the commercial cutting market so that is a pretty good reference.

If it will make money for a commercial cutter for several years it should last a home owner decades with decent care.

    Sad day. :(
The passing of actor Barry Newman age 92 was announced. Although never a household name his a career spanning over 5 decades and he starred in 2 of my personal favorites.

Vanishing Point (1971) -- the best road movie of all time. The soundtrack of this movie, both the 440 Dodge engine & the music are amazing.

    vanishingpoint3.jpg

Fear is the Key (1972) -- an excellent action/crime/revenge flick. This one also featured an amazing dynamic soundtrack by a young British Jazz composer, Roy Budd, who passed entirely too young at age 46.

Fear is the Key also starred one of my favorite villains, :canada: actor John Vernon. He played the bad guys with wonderfully smooth, ruthless, oily quality.

I have both movies naturally but also the soundtrack CDs as well. :D

Ah yes, vanishing point. Lol. It was the Redcliff all nighter drive in. Somehow reminds me of Star Trek in a way. Gone were no man’s gone before. Can’t remember the movie much but the adrenaline was sure movin’.

FWIW, I have this kawi engine on my ZT with 430 hours on it. I change the oil filter, fuel filter, clean the air filters, and it's been 100% trouble free. I hope I didn't just jinx myself. :anonymous:
