Found this cool ride in a thrift today.

    KIMG3384.jpg

Quite nicely made but with a few problems - no suspension for one.

    KIMG3386.jpg

    No brakes!

    KIMG3385.jpg

No engine either, people powered - people braked too, note the handle.

I feel like I have to speak up since I’m a loaner on the poll here haha. Bought a new house to us last year with a big turn around driveway and a million projects so parking at home depends purely on space in the drive and projects going on. Work at a hospital and parking is nothing but chaos. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it haha

Reverse only sort of worked in one of my first cars when warm.

In trying to use reverse as little as possible I got very good at turning around using hills to roll back. All these years later I still do it, I rolled back into "my spot" at work for more than 15 years - always the same spot. :anonymous:

More often than not I double clutch (the Tacoma) shifting down to second gear - a habit formed while driving my old Ranger with a balky second gear.

BTW, the Ranger (4 cylinder, 5 speed, regular cab, 6 foot box, 2wd) was a great little 3 season commuter.

I can't stand snakes, not even gopher snakes.

My mom hated snakes like no other. She explained she thought she was a Native American in a previous life that died by a snake bite. This coming from a very pragmatic, yankee woman. Makes me smile everytime snakes come up.

    Thanks!

Good morning everyone :hattip: Halfway to the weekend

When I get home now I park anywhere from the shop to the driveway but try to position my truck so my lights don't shine in the house when I leave in the mornings :D

Remember the floors I started on Saturday in the master bedroom? Got them all laid down yesterday evening, now to put some shoe molding down and move on to some outside projects again for a few weeks.
