I wanted to be clear that my comment wasn't suggesting he was chill, it was actually suggesting he was unchill. I was hoping we could all continue to chill. Then a pumpkin entered the chat... :annoyed:

Guy I work with bought a 21 Tundra a few weeks back and we've been chatting about it since he knows my affinity for all things Yota, anyways...

I get out of the stand yday morning and come back to civilization and 12 texts, half from this guy about his morning. Ever since he bought the truck, he had been noticing little yellow spots and gecko sized looking terds in the truck, if you live in Florida you see these from time to time.
Yesterday morning he comes out of Lowes, opens the door to a huge rat on his console. Total panic. Rat dives at his pedals and into the dash he goes. Back into Lowe's for a rat trap. 30 minutes later, a 15 inch w/ tail RAT emerges, deader than 4 o'clock. I was dying laughing at him telling me this story. Here's the business end of the trap...

By now it's been 2 weeks since he bought the truck. Do you take it back to the dealer and try and beat them up or no?

I would… lord knows what that sucker has been destroying. Wires, foam, hoses, without a proper look see it’s nothing you want to fin out about later without it being documented now…

And exactly why would he go back to the dealer and beat them up about what? Is that a factory installed rat or an after market mod-rat that is not covered by the warranty?

The impression I get is, it was a dealer add-on.
If it’s his own and own fault… yep, suck it up buttercup.
If dealership fresh… I expect them to document and verify there isn’t additional damage.
If there is, I’d expect them to address it.
