What turning down a boring job of padding a shaft .

Till you were finished a new shaft would be much cheaper though perhaps the time frame to receive a new shaft is to long. Making the repair cost look reasonable.

i gotta love those that cry I am losing $10,000.00 an hour or more. Yet never have any spare parts .

I topped them off to 31 last night so the TPMS is pretty much spot on.

This is why when I'm due for tires, all those sensors are getting put in a pipe, pressured up and tossed under the seat.

I spent $1500 on rubber. I WILL check the pressure before every trip.

I've never been convinced the TPM system is a safety feature. I'm inclined to believe it's there to I sure that the vehicle will get the mpg that it is advertised at getting.

But yeah, I got the same thing going on in my Tundra and it drives me nuts! This time of year with the temps going back and fourth makes it double annoying!

Not retired just training. Think of the fun I have going to downtown Asheville. It's been fun training sometimes she gets confused about what she is looking for smelly stuff or good smelling stuff.
I sometimes just send her around a random car in a random parking lot.

You know why they have those pesky things right? Remember back when all those Ford exploders were rolling over. Ford blamed Firestone saying it was the tires sidewalls being faulty. But what everyone didn't know was Ford was having the tire pressure wrong on the vehicle to make for a softer/cushioned ride. But people would not check their own tires air pressure also.
A very long story shortened Ford blamed Firestone and vice versa, and so my friends that is how we got tpms.
Correct me if I'm wrong please.

    Sounds correct to me!

Ran tires at low air pressure at Highway speeds Kaboom( things get real warm) of course blame the tire.

Like in the old days when flat tube type tires caught fire so exciting.

Lol a regular tire will increase one PSI every 11 degrees of temperature, no matter if you measure with a gauge or TPMS. They are as accurate as a stick or dial gauge. That's why you check them cold.
If you park with one side in the sun and one in the shade you will usually get a PSI difference. On a trip and lightly loaded, your air temp in your tire will be 20+ degrees warmer than outside air due to friction. Pulling a trailer? 30 degrees. TPMS or a gauge is like horseshoes, close counts, because it is gonna be different if you drive at speed for any distance.
