Flight is booked. Fly out tomorrow morning at 8, come back next Saturday at 9-ish am, back home around 2pm.

A "standard car", whatever that means, is booked.

And inevitably much to my sister's annoyance, my hotel room is booked. She wasn't happy last time I was down and stayed at a hotel but I like my space. When booking the room I contemplated checking the box that it was my Honeymoon but refrained.

Thanks. Simple 50/50 mix of semi-gloss latex paint and water applied with a rag. No need for poly.

That dull, barn board, weathered look seems to be the preference these days.

My dad has been a carpenter for more than 40 years and I was always planning on being one as well until I heard of an opening at the place I've been at now for 9 years doing glass work. I learned a lot from him but I dont get to use those skills much so thankfully I have him for help with home projects. He helped me build these shelves for my laundry room/gym and I'm glad he suggested making them free standing because I'm about to repurpose the room and need to move them. After that they'll get painted along with the room.

That’s neat too, you didn’t happen to get any finished pictures of that glass tube you were welding yesterday do you?

I didn't catch the part earlier about the ramp for chihuahua, that's cool. One of the things I made for my wife (then fiance) was a ramp for her pet duck to make it in and out of the little swimming pool. I think that might have been the deed that sealed my fate...I mean won her heart.
