Yes sir! My wife and I own a small convenience store. She usually runs it and I work in the machine shop. I work here an hour in the mornings, go to the shop for 8 hours then come back here for 4-5 hours. We are trying to sell the store because we’re tired of working so much. She also sells Norwex.

Nice setup. I don't remember all the furnace details, but it's 1/2hp blower, propane fired, 95% efficiency.
I discoed the house wires from it and attached a 120v cord, plugged into a 12ga ext cord. 2000 watt Coleman genny. The furnace try to start then kick out on low voltage I think. Lucky I didn't fry the board.

3500w Predator now run thru a lockout plate runs the furnace with ease, and most everything in the house, within reason.

For the first time in two weeks I didn't wear my heavy winter coat to work! :yay:

This weekend looks like it will finally be decent enough to try out the new smoker, too!

I don't have nearly enough experience with smokers to try anything beyond simple stuff yet. With my other smoker, I have a terrible time getting it to smoke without the temps rising higher than I want and even then the wood doesn't burn down, it stays in chunks. I'm hopeful that the Traeger makes things easier for me so I can start experimenting more. :D

Any idea what you'll be smoking?

Traeger has been out of my budget, but if they’re as tried and trued as their reputation seems, you should have good results!
My wife used up the last of our frozen stock of smoked turkey, so I have a feeling she might get me one to try. One of the amazing things this Orion cooker brags about is cooking a turkey in 2.5 hrs. So I’m game to give it a shot!

    what’s on your menu?
