There was a sale on them at Costco the day I got back from Georgia so we went and looked at them. The salesman was great - he gave us the pitch on all 3 models they had there then he asked what I usually cooked and how many people I cooked for. Every time I answered, he kept pointing to the least expensive model. I was impressed that he wasn't pushing to get me to upgrade to the wifi models or the larger grill. The Mesa 22 ended up right about $500. The other 2 models were $1,000 and $1,300 and didn't offer me anything I would have used to justify paying double.

I'm thinking a simple smoked chicken breast to break it, and me, in. I'd try pork chops again, since that was the original plan when I bought the smoker, but since I had a kid that decided to eat liquefied spinach instead of the pig, I'm steering clear of that for a while.

Yesterday here at the store I couldn’t sit down for the customers, thankful for that. Today with the ice, I’ve been vacuuming the entire store with a customer every hour or so. Probably close early and make sure the wife and kiddos are doing okay. She’s been texting me and she’s doing okay with the kids looking after her. Our 8 year old son brought her a bell to ring if she needs him

Thanks! I took them some popcorn from the store, I told him that was a good idea about the bell. He said 1 ring is me, 2 is for Sadie (our 5 year old daughter) and 3 rings is for both of us
