I saw this on MP and the description made me laugh. "Complete truck OTHER THAN":rofl:

What could possibly be worth $1,500 here, or even $15 o_O

Some brodozer wannabe will want those wheels. “Not parting out” means you gotta take the trash in it also lol

I never heard in my life that people use a torque wrench on a spark plug. Crimp the crush washer and done…or have I been doing it wrong for 40 years?

Also, hey shop guys I wanna look into a jump box like a Noco or the like. Yesterday had to bush wack into the blackberries to jump start a friends mini excavator. I’d rather not have to do that again. Are these just fancy batteries with cables to jump certain size batteries? Do they need to be maintained or just plug them in once a year or so? What is a one size fits all example for me to get as I have 12 and 6 volt batteries on my vehicles, tractor, and generators? What say the TW shop crew?

I've had old ones that you could hook something to, like a small 12V pump and run it. The last one I bought was a small NOCO and it only jumps things off if it detects certain voltage (what good is that, if I had voltage I wouldn't need a jump box). You can't hook a 12V pump to it and run it. It's useless to me. It does hold a charge okay though, probably needs it at least once a year or maybe even twice.

Trying to remember what I have.
I peak it once every two months.
    Make sure it’s diesel certified.
    Highest amp rating.
    I’ll get a pic.

I have a Noco. In standard mode, it looks for voltage to jump. There’s another button on the faceplate that you press if it’s completely dead.

I don't think mine has that option, I'll have to verify. I've had it 3-4 years, they could have changed them since I bought mine.

I have a cheap one I got from Costco. Started my truck for 3 days until my new battery was delivered.

I'd like to put one in all of our vehicles but between the price and knowing I'm going to get a text that their car won't start anyway, I haven't pulled that trigger.

    Yeup.
    Diesel needs that.
    Plus believe it or not.
Tundra’s don’t like low batteries ( more than usual) they just won’t engage with a weak box..

Check out Project Farm on YouTube. He does a nice job evaluating the various portable jump systems. Based upon his research I purchased the DB Power jump starter on Amazon. We did opt for one in each of our vehicles and I think I have three different brands, having bought a NOCO and one other brand before going with the Project Farm recommendation of the DB Power unit. I found the DB Power unit performs well at a reasonable price. The NOCO chargers are on the higher end of the cost spectrum.
