I'm a fan of a job done by the book, when it counts which I believe it does with vehicles as it relates to safety.

Damn yall I guess I'm buying a torque wrench now lol

Yup, I hear you on that. I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade so we have to follow the book so I treat all of my MX that way. If it's not by the book, it's wrong. I'm pissed that my source for free Taco PDF's got shutdown so now I have to find time to batch download the 05' to 15' repair manual with wiring diagrams when I get some free time from the Toyota TIS website. Unless you might now another source for a repair manual? :spy:

So knapping is what you call it when you strike it on stone or something to chip away the material you're removing?

Everytime I take off my wheels I turn all silvery, but they pull right off, same with the drums, a light coat on the hub.

1" diameter? Also, looks like a SHCS, not a HCS. What thread pitch did he mill it to?

We’ve got several around here that are still without power.

When I went to the shop this morning I almost ran into this tree, that was 6:45, it was dark. When I came back home this afternoon it was still there if that tells you how busy the crews are around here.
