Inspired by the fashion discussion from a few weeks ago, can any of you warm weather folks recommend a good yard/work pant that’s lightweight, breathable and durable? Shorts are not an option.

    Thanks in advance :hattip:

Well I've been known to utilize the old cintas work pants just like @RustyGreen does. I've also used old bdu pants light weight and airy, let me go look at the Brand.
Ok they are Propper BDU's in OD.
    Anybody else?

One thing I learned about carpet installation is to have it properly stretccccch. It was a PITA for me to have it stretched again after all furnitures were arranged.

Check out Wranglers ATG pants. They have both cargo and 5 pocket styles. My Walmart or Target used to carry them but not sure if they still do. You can buy them direct online. I’ve also got a couple of pair of the Duluth Trading Company” dry on the fly” cargo pants. Both of these are lightweight and breathable. They are pretty durable but do have some spandex in them for stretch so if you’re briar busting they will get some picks. They hold up fine for normal yard work.

I’ll also say Propper BDUs if you are looking for that style of pants. A bit heavier than the ones I offered above but a lot more durable too.

I used to not like pennies until one day my FIL said he wished he had a million dollars worth of them. Changed my perspective of them and now I pick em up.

Thanks for planting this seed this week, I decided to do the same thing so I can get some stuff done around the house, and also relax. Oh and we don’t have much to do at work as of today.

Still blows me away one of the dumpiest people i worked with was a tightwad. Always selling something nick nacks, radar detectors, or whatever, driving a raggedy car, rarely washed his uniform...turned out he was a millionaire:eek::eek::eek::nuclear:

I know! You should see the change I've picked up out of parking lots.

Scored a 50 cent piece last week.

I'll be standing at the mailbox when the mailperson stops by. :)

    Thank you!!!!
But our documents clearly state that if the donor objects to shipping then all costs accrued will be handled by @six5crèéd .
    Thanks again!!

Oddly enough, I have zero recollection of this particular discussion.

One needn’t be Scottish to rock the kilt! Just make sure it’s made from ripstop material

Got a test pair of Propper 2.0 BDU. (Pics will NOT be provided )

Good morning everyone, I hope you have a thoroughly enjoyable Thursday except for you @six5crèéd . You get a Happy Friday :bananadance:
