While I agree, some jobs now have bonuses and promotion eligibility based on customer reviews. If they did their job well, I don't mind doing the survey and giving back to the people doing a service for me.

But. If they are a**holes and want a 5 star review? Tough, you'll still get an honest review. Good luck getting a raise with that attitude!

 

He's not officially out he has 77 gallons left...

 

A guy came in yesterday, turned and looked out the door and says "that's not good" me playing dumb said "what's that?" he said "no gas". I said really? We don't have any gas? Who knew?

 

That is true, it's at the bottom of a 2,000 gallon underground tank. I may dig it up, lol.

A guy ask me yesterday if I saved us some in the ground. I said why would I do that? We have 3 vehicles all full, my commute to work is 8 miles one way, I figure we're good for at least 2 months and this isn't the end of all gas, there will be some soon.

 

One old guy this morning said its 1973 2.0 I about pissed my pants as I said I'm not that old I only remember 1979....

 

My thing is, if you have to ask for it, you should do better at your job and you'll get a good review without having to ask for it

 

Gotta save that for Coles mower.

 

We use to wear our uniforms to and from work....one day, on the way to work, an old dude said, "Going to work?"....I said, "no, a wedding; these are the best clothes I have".

I did tell one of the Office managers for a 3 letter agency one time God will be there in a few minutes...

This one particular Office manager I deal with @ this XXX agency told me one time I was an asshole so I told her it's better than being the whole ass....This is just one of the many "we are above all" agencies we have in the Building

After those 2 were rejected, I stopped trying to review the ratings scam I was apparently part of. On the plus side, I did at least receive a few things I've actually used.

This was the issue that started the God comment....

I get an email from one of the tenants XXX agency we have no A/C cooling on the 3 rd floor offices and they lease 4 floors of the building. I Replied give me about 30/40 minutes I will get someone to look at the issue we are currently working on the boilers doing some seasonal change over maintenance....

10 minutes goes by another email Where are you? So I forwarded back my last response. Response back Was "You realize who we are XXX agency correct"? My response was "Yes, I understand you are above all in a time of crisis or what you think is a crisis, but please understand my position as I'm not God today. But I will touch down in 20/30 minutes if I can stop with the interruptions to satisfy your need for a cooler space"....

 

And...been buying a few things here and there. But with the ATF watching, I'm not posting any purchases.
