My wife just called me, she called the gas company and they said they still don't know when we will get any :frusty::frusty::frusty:

Apparently the lady she spoke with yesterday who said she would do what she could and would call back yesterday afternoon was just telling us what we wanted to hear :smack:

    1 and 2, which isn't an option.

1 if there's something missing in the existing reviews that I can add to that I think other's will find helpful.

2 if my grill is broken.

They have lots of multi-compartment trucks, they are catching all their big accounts basically and we will probably be last whenever that is. Sucks but nothing we can do about it but wait.

Sorry to nerd you guys out, you can skip by if too long, I won't be offended ;)
Agree, hopefully this doesn't start a :crapstorm: I believe lots of folks get too hung up on "a number" that they want to make one size fit all. (and also tell anyone who doesn't agree that they are wrong)

    My personal procedure:
    1) Access the service -- highway, town, long trip, short trip, dirt, idle time, heavy duty, etc.
    2) Select a product -- 1) viscosity and SAE service rating from manual 2) synthetic blend, full synthetic, boutique
    3) Choose a maintenance plan -- mileage, time or combination

    1) Access the service is the most important and will determine 2,3
Short trips (running cold) deplete the dispersants and inhibitors that keep the engine free of sludge deposits and protect from combustion acids
Highway running (eventually) wears out (shears) the viscosity improvers that make the oil stay in grade and protect under high load, highway running is much easier on the dispersants and inhibitors

    Example 1: My daily van
    1) Service: 25% dirt road, mostly in town and secondary road driving -- the dirt road driving trumps all other conditions
    2) Product: Any syn blend that meets the specs in the manual is fine, no advantage to full syn - dirt is dirt
    3) Plan: Again the dirt, 3-4k interval, I drive it enough to not worry about time

    Example 2: Tacoma
    1) Service: Over 99% paved road, majority of driving over 50 mile trips, seldom in rain, no winter use
    2) Product: 0W-20 spec, I believe all products of this viscosity are full syn, any brand fine, I use Toyota
    3) Plan: Probably won't go 10K in a season, I change once a year in the fall

    Example 3: 1966 Ford
    1) Service: Over 99% paved road, majority of driving over 50 mile trips, never in rain, no winter use
    2) Product: Current SN spec oil isn't the best for old engines, I use a boutique oil with high zinc and phosphorus
    3) Plan: Probably not 2k per season, I change once a year in the fall

Folks get hung up on the best oil (brand) -- well, the best oil is the one that will do the job for the lowest cost.

So this entire fiasco was over a hacked billing system? Is that even infrastructure? I remember grocery stores without scanners. Cashier knew the scale codes off by heart & rarely did She make a keystroke error when punching’ in the numbers. How far have we progressed.

Something was hacked in their system. We don't have a scanner in the store, everything is manually punched in the register
