I had a little accident once with a belt sander similar to that one. The belt grab the piece out of my hand and I tried to catch it. The edge of the belt cut just a tiny ways into my finger, on the side just below the nail. Crazy how much owee factor some little cuts or slivers can cause.

I've spent the last few weeks getting an area of the AutoCAD plan for campus updated. I've drawn in 29,000 lineal feet of lines designating the sidewalks. o_O

New task - Amazon has started delivering their own packages on campus and are going in the wrong doors and wandering around hallways looking for people. Somehow, I'm supposed to work with them to get things streamlined.

I don't even know where to begin on that one.

That sounds all well and good but we have 110 buildings and 150 department on campus. Which door they need to go in depends on who ordered it. I'm sure Fed Ex and UPS had some growing pains when they started delivering to campus but they have it pretty well figured out from the sounds of it. I'm guessing the biggest problem with Amazon is that they don't have just one person that will learn their way around like Fex Ex and UPS have, but that's on them, not us.

To save face, I'll still need to reach out to someone from Amazon. They have a Property Manager Delivery Information page but that won't do much good for us here as our addresses are all over the place. :annoyed:

    No worries. :fistbump:

I'm just kinda venting because I don't see this as an "us" problem, it's a "them" problem but somehow it's on me to try and figure it out.

Order stuff through the school credit card, meet the driver and explain to them what is where. May take a while :D

I could pimp the hell out of the Tacoma if campus was paying for it! I might even finally be able to get a Pro!

Your comment also brings up another point - some things are ordered by departments for use on campus but I'm betting the majority are ordered by people that have things delivered here instead of at home.
