I wish! He said he plans on keeping it in the family since it was his grandfathers when new.

I decided to hire out. I'm starting a second job next week and that will pay to have it mowed. May even pay the guy to do the landscaping out front next spring.

Powder coater brought a couple chairs over with some holes. Had to turn the welder down to negative amperage. Used a thin piece of sheet metal for a backer on the second one. They aren’t perfect but the paint will hide a lot of it.

Picked the basket up from paint and made some clamps.

This sounds crazy, but grab a stick welding rod and break the coating off of it. Use it as a filler rod working into the puddle, works perfect in cases like this. I have to do this sometimes repairing sheet metal on side pans. Usually I'm using all stick, but would probably work for MIG too. Pretty much TIG welding with a stick welder. Some of my co-workers call it wizardry or witchcraft

Drilled and tapped some holes in the shell brackets and made some more brackets to get the fishing rod holders mounted.
