Tri stone for sharpening, was taught by the guy who taught me to cut meat at Winn-Dixie. We would end the day a hour early and sharpen knives for the next day. Manager would get pissed as we were all cleaned up at 1700 and sharpening knives.

I’ve got to make a ramp for the powder coat guy, his guy brought a piece of steel over for the top. He tried to come up our ramp with a 9,000 lb forklift, it stopped.

That's a good amount of miles you got out of that car. Exhaust leak toward the front or rear?

I did the same thing last night at the fairgrounds with ours.. was tossing sodden 1" particle board (from an old travel trailer someone kindly "donated", aka abandoned) into our rubbish bin, and didn't realize just how soft the ground was (Can you ket K02s in forklift sizes?????)… almost had to go and get the big IH to pull it out, but saved myself. Barely.

Sounds more towards the front, but not exactly like a manifold to head, I was just looking at parts online and suspect possibly the gaskets at crossover pipe. Pure guess until I put the jack under there and investigate.
You familiar with any common failure points?
This engine has the manifold cast internal to the head with just a single outlet on each side.

Not familiar with them at all, sorry bud. I wish you were closer. I have a smoke machine, would likely find that exhaust leak with ease.

Me too. I got another sharpener out of the kitchen and hit it, it’s better but still won’t cut hair off my arm.

I have a stone at work, it’s in pretty bad shape though. Got a Cutco one in the kitchen, it’s seen it’s better days though.

The biggest things to me a out sharpening in the angle. A lot of the sharpeners are made for kitchen knives etc that are ground at a different angle than say a pocket knife. It seems every manufacturer uses a different angle.

There's a dude in the what have you created today thread that's a knife maker that could like help you more than I.
