Making some progress on the homestead. I think the worst part will be that I can’t match the color of the existing roof, so it’ll look weird. I also didn’t ask for advantec, but that’s what I got for the sheathing. Fun fact, advantec was developed at the university of Maine! (I think)

 

Y'all get on up and get with it. Cory you think you'll end up putting up gutters to chase water away from your garage entrance or nah probably not?

 

I’d like to at some point, I don’t know if I’ll have a problem with ice ripping them off though.

My wife had a realtor call her last week. He wanted to know if we need a realtor, she said no we've had bad luck with them. He ask if he could come by and look, she said sure, look all you want.

He came by Tuesday about 5:30, ask me was my wife around. I said no, she took our daughter to dance. He pulled his phone out and looked at his schedule and said I can come by in the morning at 10. I said okay, I'll tell her.

I told my wife, she showed me his text from last week he was supposed to be there Tuesday at 2:00

Yesterday I was blowing leaves out of the store parking lot and he pulls in at 6:30, ask is my wife around. I said no, she took our son to baseball practice.

I said this is the trouble we've had with realtors, they tell us something then don't do it. You are 8 1/2 hours late. He said yeah that's a problem I have, I'm a one man operation.

I said I am too, that's why I'm out here blowing leaves until a customer pulls in then I stop and wait on them and told him he better learn how to communicate or he will never make it as a realtor.

He said can I wait for her? I said sure but I don't know when they'll be back. He said can I come by tomorrow? I said I wouldn't advise that, be best to use your phone

Look at snow stops/snow breakers/snow guards/ice guards, (properly called a "snow retention system") there are different styles and different names, they do work well.

Years ago I had gutters put on a metal warehouse roof.
The gutter guy has been doing it more than 40 years, he "these will head off any problems" - he was right!
