Excuse my ignorance, but what part of turkey isn’t GF? Stuffing/Cornbread/etc. are side dishes that can be dismissed. I simply inject (seasonings), butter and stuff mine with veggies and fruit. No grain products involved.

 

I dont nor ever liked stuffing/dressing

Thanks for the tips. Got ‘er down to a fine science. I keep it pretty traditional using GF bread. You just gotta toast it in the oven a bit. So blessed I know my way around a kitchen. Either that or starve.

 

Does a heavy Grain diet in the in Animals or Birds effect the Meat at all as far as Gluten is concerned??

I have no idea but diet can effect other things

 

Not sure if it does or not but the GF sensitivity varies. I was feelin’ sick for a month before I traced it to a lip balm I was using once cold weather started.

It’s funny to ask that, but there are 3 kinds these days… Celiac, uncomfortable allergists, and Herbalists. It’s usually that 3rd group that give the rest a bad rap - Like a vegan at a steakhouse.

EDIT: I know all three….
1) She literally bends over in agony and has the worst day of her life.
2) He gets arthritic pain as an after party for the next day or so. Sometimes hives.
3) Asks waiters is the bread is GF. Complains blurry vision, IBS, and migraines are symptoms.
EDIT2: #3 might need a kale, gojiberry, and lemongrass smoothie cleanse to recover.

 

I only believed it when they showed me the pics of the carnage inside. That was a real eye opener. I wouldn’t know how to explain this to a Kid.

 

THAT is a celiac - It literally is a full blown digestive fight and looks like ulcers and heartburn rolled into food poisoning. They look at pizza longingly, not with disgust. They just know better.

 

In my case it all depends just who did the cooking !!

The whole bird was so dry the filling was like eating stale bread left out for 2 days.

I never cared for any dressing on gravy but for Sausage Gravy biscuits.

 

Only thing positive about it is I’m wearing Jean I had in high school. That’s after scarfing down a Porterhouse 2 days ago.

My wife can't eat dairy or gluten, and both boys are sensitive to both as well.
