Spent 4 days in Gulf Shores last month. Wife and I decided that we like the salt and sun so much that we want to retire there.

 

Boss ask if I could machine these after they were bent a couple weeks ago. I said yeah, I’ll figure out something. I noticed they been laying with paperwork ready to go to the customer for several days. I ask him if they changed their mind, he said he forgot. They aren’t perfectly square at the bend, a few degrees off. First one done.

First muscle car I can recall going for a ride in.
Except the original 396 was gone from it and replaced with a built 454, 4 speed squirrely

I've wanted one for a long time. I guess since I was born in '67 and my father had a '66 SS 396 4spd.
Uncle told me he and my dad used to race each other, him with his same year '66 Ford with 390 4spd. I think Fairlane 500 or something. I'd have to call and ask. He said if my dad lost a race to him that he'd be out there gapping spark plugs and tweaking the timing

 

No Walmarts have 24F Battery and it's kind of chafing my back side...bottom

 

I just got one at AutoZone a couple weeks ago

 

Find a place that just deals in batteries. I got a place up the road that sells East-Penn/Deka batteries and they're actually less money than Autozone, Advance, or Napa.
