    TSC clearance rack score
    Regular price $199.99
    Clearance $99.99

So wonderfully light and quiet too.
I might even not hate working with wood -- as much...

    I don't believe this... :D

I was so excited to snag a Makita cordless saw on clearance I completely overlooked the fact that it was a lefty. I popped a battery in it when I got home, heard it run (with a big foolish grin) and came in the house.

I have wanted a lefty for years - wood work isn't my thing, I didn't use a circular saw until I was over 30.

    Funny story:

I love my Porter Cable left hand circular saw. I've had mine for 25 years.

I told the wife I was getting worried that I would not be able to find a replacement if it failed.

I paid $98 in '93(I think). I found the exact same, used, left hand saw on eBay for $146. I bought it.

3 weeks later, the wife and I walk the neighborhood looking at the city wide garage sales.

Of course, 2 blocks away, someone has the exact, same, fucking saw for sale for $5!

It was barely used. I bought it and resold the ebay saw for $30 less than I paid for it!

At least I got a nice walk out of the ordeal.

You do understand that is how the Multiverse works.

Are you thinking of relocating to a Southern area for good or just for winters?

The fact you rarely miss the opportunity to point it out makes me think you're pretty much as twisted as I am.

Just for the winters. I figure I got 8-10 years of dragging a 5th wheel 800 miles before I'm done with the drive.

We have been researching storing the 5th wheel in South Carolina the 8-10 months we are in Michigan. This is a very appealing option to me. We have a second 5th wheel in Michigan, so we won't really miss local camping.
