The old saying " One persons treasures are another persons trash"

Mom passed I worked out of Town .

I was never told till weeks later . When I did get home the house was empty completely stripped .

One of the worse things all those verbal promises over the years are worthless if the will is never updated .

It was never changed since 1963 .

Things were very interesting enough said.

I'm in the process of cleaning out the garage and have sold some stuff on Facebook. My problem is I never think my crap is worth some of the prices I see online and don't care to haggle so I sell it cheap.

I have a bunch of Matchbox/Hot Wheels from when the kids were younger taking up room in my basement but, again, doubt any of them are worth much.

Unless they are pretty beat up you’d be surprised how much some of them are worth.

I lost the entire [minus 2-3 books I bought in paperback] first runs of ERB's Tarzan in hardcover. I picked them up at a garage sale as a 10-12 year old and read them all, Mom or Dad tossed them all when I went into the Army.

The logistics of my life...

    Thursday:
    Bring trailer home.

    Friday:
Load New Holland mower with broken muffler and take to garage, unload and load up ZT, mow 5 lawns, return and unload.
Work on NH, discover I need some funny :canada: thread bolts , Met-Ric I think they call them... :notsure:

    Saturday:
Get to garage and remember I never stopped at store for bolts, back across town...
    :(

Get back to garage and remember I never loaded the mower jack - it is still at home...
    :censored:

Decide fate, faith or karma is against me here -- head home, stop for gas...

The magic electronic wizardry that makes everything beep when you swipe your card is broken - no gas. :frusty:

Cash is now the backup for when credit fails. How times have changed.............

And people sometimes wonder why I always carry some green stuff in my pocket when I go out.

And a CC never saved something for sale you ran across when out and about. $20 or $50 almost always does.

Lawn mowed, half the landscaping deadheaded, patio furniture in place, the patio lights are up and hardware has been ordered to build a gate to contain the dogs.. It's coming together!

    Yep!

I've saved a deal giving a seller $20 out of my sock to hold an item until I can come back and pay it off.

It was a communications problem apparently.

Cash, credit or even immoral favor all the pumps were down.

    I miss these...

yeah, i don't see a way to change only the cabinets/counters with where everything's located. just not enough space.

    i'll also support option #4

i had a customer once that was always coming in during a remodel and changing things. "if it's not a big deal, i'd like to_____"

i suggested option #4 to them. i got the same look as if i had randomly suggested using their purse-dog for lunch.
