I only keep 2 hives just enough for friend's and family. You are correct a lot of time and SWEAT I will do that for family and friends and give it away but someone driving down the street cannot afford my price ha ha

 

A good friend of mine use to have somewhere around 50 bee hives. I helped him a couple times, it’s a lot of work to do it right. I learned a lot about bees and the process. You’re right the price you can sell honey at does not equal cost of labor. You have to do it because you enjoy it. Maybe earn enough to pay for equipment. Good luck with your hives.

 

I did trade $20 in work for honey and I probably won't get any of it, my wife and kids love it so I did it for them

I thought about telling my wife my tacoma world friends were asking about a baby name but then she would think know I was a weirdo...

Not even a little bit, its not like we're arguing about it. Our 2 year old is keeping us as busy as we can be. By the time we get her to bed and tidy up the house at night shes ready for bed at 730 and I've been working quite a bit so I'm not far behind her. Im actually busier at home than I am at work.

 

That's called adulting

 

Thanks for clarifying I wasnt sure. Not complaining at all, busy is good. Idle hands do the devils work.

Got the caliper bracket coming, only down side is that I had to buy the caliper and everything to get it.. that's the way it goes I suppose
