Not so uncommon actually, I have worked with many people who had a particular "gift" for a some tasks or areas yet the seemed to be surprisingly under qualified in some other simpler area or general life skills.

It seems their amazing capacity in one area pulled resources for operations in another.

Trust me when I tell you if you see it you will know. Not to many blue/purple/silver bikes out there with rattle can painted engines, frame, fenders, gas tank, and wheels, all blended together cause meth and a Milwaukee drill battery zip tied to the side, busted gas cap cause no key to unlock it, and the ignition switch hanging down by the triple tree with no key in it

 

Ya know I doubt it would be able to make it this far. SHP would have a field day.

 

When he got it back the other day he said the year sticker was gone off the license plate. I ask was that his plate or another one? He confirmed it was not his tag that was on it when it was stolen the 1st time.

He lost the Milwaukee battery? . That should have been his key / anti theft device!

 

I can't believe they haven't put flyers in the mailboxes yet. Our nosy neighbor that gets the scoop on everything said they were told it could be up to a year before it's ready to go (but probably sooner). Apparently there is a sales office in a nearby town that we can visit for pricing and to sign up. Because the government grants for rural internet improvment payout based on how many properties are affected, we are among the last to get it in the area since there aren't many houses on our road.

 

I know the feeling. We've had it now for 2 years and it's been great for $49.99 a month added to our electric bill.

 

Speaking of neighbors, my wife got a text from our neighbor yesterday that I worked on the mower for and she ask could I check the lug nuts on her car. She said "I smell rubber burning and think my caliper is rubbing and I just got new tires. He can come here and check them or I can drive it there".

I said I don't mind one bit, have her bring it to the shop.

 

If her dadgum caliper is rubbing on new tires shes got bigger issues lol

 

Getting ready to head into town and get allergy shot and PT for the back. Accidentally on purpose discovered I only had 10 rounds in my little pew pew so had to switch mags. And load up. Leaving Maligator at home today so I'm a little less protected.

 

Ohoh me smells something rotten in Denmark about tlrs. and trees.
