What's mind blowing to me is they're 12 people who have never used electrical tape and paper towels for a bandage. What is wrong with society?
Do you guys never get cut and scarred?
Do you go to the ER for everything?
Do you not do anything risky?

My wife (retired RN) and my daughter (ICU RN) make sure I am stocked with Surgical Glue in my shop. This is in case my electrical tape and paper towels are not enough...

In fact, they have so much confidence in me they have taught me to cauterize a real bad cut with my torch!

I have used electrical tape as a bandage more times than I can count. True story.

I was in the Air Force. We were taught not to cut ourselves or go the ER if we did, as that would spoil our safety record and the Wing would not get a down day at the end of the month.

Besides, shouldn't you just let a cut bleed out until your blood clots, so you don't get Tetanus. :anonymous:

I was one of the 12. Same thing, lots of various other tape, or rags, or whatever, just not electrical tape. And I have built a kick ass med kit with steri strips and a suture kit.

    Morning everyone!
    Happy Friday.
Gotta clean up my mess from yesterday.
Busted butt on 4 parts yesterday again using way oversized stock.
Just to find out I hosed all of them using the wrong size drill for the npt.
Dammit at weld now oh well haste makes waste so they say.

FOD bag wrapped with safety wire. These jets aren't going to inspect themselves and god forbid you break into the first aid kit on the aircraft, you don't want that kind of heat from safety and bio when you go get another.

I love when my company tells me they gave me the wrong measurement on something when it’s all done. Then tell me not to worry, machine time is free.

I had an old Johnson 2hp that was doing the same thing. After a lot of aggravation I found the drive shaft wasn’t seating in the crank all the way, due to rust and crud inside the crank splines. Once I got it cleaned out and greased it was running good as new.

Playing the powdercoat lottery today. Dropped the fenders off and said whatever color you’re running today is fine
