Cabin air filter replaced. If they even bothered to actually check it, which I doubt, I'm betting the reason they said it looked bad is because it was a charcoal filter so the day I put it in it was already black. The new one is white. :p

The sticker I put on my wife's windshield said it needs to be changed on 6-4-2024 or 26,xxx miles. She's currently at 20,xxx miles so it was only driven 4k in the last 11 months. And that's including our 1,000 mile road trip last summer!

The oil change for her car will set me back about $35.

At that rate might as well toss $100 in the bank & let the interest pay for the next ones.

Charcoal ones are hard to examine and condemn.

I don't know why you were looking to get someone else to build your deck. You're doing a damn fine job on your own, probably better than most pro's would have done!

The story goes she bought them from our lanes many, many years ago.
They all have different initials on them so 5 balls from 5 different sets.
I think they ended up house balls for a period of time and sold them to her.
One is so bad it’s not worth repairing but, I’m going to practice on it cause sure as hell can’t
Make it worse.. looks like they hit it with a pick ax.

    Afternoon guys.

I got the leaves all bagged up and hauled off to the burn row by noon. After lunch I got a call from my gun shop asking if I was still interested in one of the new S&W 442 Ultimate Carry j-frames. I said that depends on the price…

    upload_2024-4-27_16-16-40.jpg

It was a really good price! I’ll just call it an early birthday present for myself :D

They really knocked it out of the park with this one. This is the way Smith & Wesson should have been building them all along.

So, as you guys know, I got a new Tundra. Truck I have been wanting and traded around until I could afford it.

But let me tell you about the coolest, nerdiest feature ever! I didn't even know I had it until I stumbled on it.

My truck has a towing package. There is now a little circular switch that will change the low beam height! Yep, put a heavy load on the back and don't want to bling oncoming traffic? Just dial the low beam cutoff down and it works slick as mud!

    Welcome to the club!

Tundra trucks have had this feature since they came out with the Second Gen Tundra.

This feature is also proof that Toyota knows we will be overloading the haul capacity and gave us a convenience tool because of that fact.
