Now that I'm done with the window calculation thing, I have to draw up apartment plans based off of the scanned sets we have from 1974 because our guys need to do some work in the units. The scans are... less than stellar and the dimensions are, well, also less than stellar.

Just can't seem to win lately.

On the plus side, tomorrow is my work anniversary so my vacation time will increase from 18 to 21 days per year, so I have that going for me.

I'm 98.7% sure the contents of that bag would literally kill my wife.

Asked my wife how the turkey was coming, it's windy and my pellet smoker tends to flame out, she knows me well and sends me data instead of just saying ok. Resized_20241127_115451_1732733747286.jpg

Ahh, I see. If you want to expand your repertoire, I've been making this since I was a kid. It's my mom's recipe and it's always nice to remember her when I make it...

I used to think the same. Look up Meateater's turkey taco recipe. I like the legs and thighs better than the breast now. IMG_20240524_093537.jpg

Wish I've learned the wound attentive/care above to help my dog. The Veterianian Hospital couldn't help controlling it.

This looks great. I was just thinking tha a cranberry orange bread would be perfect to go with my cranberry orange sauce that I make for Christmas. I will give this a try. I use almond flour so I will experiment with your recipe and share back a gluten free version once I get the conversion right.

Ah, I gotta do the GF thing too. Sometimes it turns out real good but when it fails, it’s like demoralizing :pout:

Yep like baking GF bread and getting zero rise hahaha. My almond flour banana bread is pretty amazing. I have sorta figured out Belgium waffles, cakes, and non yeast breads. Still working on those yeast versions though.

i was all set today... we had a planned catered lunch at work today, with the boss telling us earlier on monday, that if everyone's work bays were cleaned up by 12:00 when lunch was served, he'd let us all cut out by 1:00 after lunch, and get paid for a full day.

i've been working on the same job for a little while, had a game plan to get some things done before the noon deadline. otherwise a nice and easy day.

then the parts guy dumped some control cables on my table for another job i'd been on hold for at 10:30. the boss is suddenly all over me to get them installed by 12:00, so they can send the job to the next steps. got them done, just barely, but far more fast-paced and stressful than i wanted on a half-day with a catered lunch...

it was at least made up by a few guys that brought their mini bikes for a race after lunch...

one guy tried cheating with race gas, but had a standard clutch setup, where the other guy took things a little further with a specialized torque converter and CVT setup... race-gas guy could get his bike up to 25-ish mph. CVT guy, his bike was topping out around 70mph, and popping wheelies off the line...

the winning bike was similar to this one
