I am on the same boat with a different issue. On the first use of the system yesterday, it came on nicely, and after the monetary cycle of the blower fan, it keeps trying to run but stops after a few rotations and trying to run again.
I had the motor run capacitor replaced last year, the guy charged $200 for the repairs, yet I hardly turn it on for AC since the weather got cooler.
Rant stopped! Life challenges continues....

ok, so mine was just under a pound low, so full charged with the R22B I think, and it is working fine, albeit, it aint fixed...

Looked like the eastern US had a huge line of Thunderstorms yesterday, I hope everyone here did ok if they came by your place.

We had some distant booms that were neat to hear but nothing severe.

All good in WNC but the I -40 gorge is closed again due to mud/land slid for at least 2 weeks.
