I can say this much about the company I work for they don't mind employees saving stuff from the dumpsters. For them they pay by weight to have it hauled off so the less that goes in the better. I ended up with a whole truck bed full of safety rope, a sand blaster, around 200 feet of 10 gauge 4 strand drop cord and a few more items.

I hope this building never shifts.

This is the gap between the bathroom stall door and the toilet paper holder.

Out with the old, in with the new. Guy at the supply house let me borrow a new fangled electric flare tool and some gauges, as well as a nitrogen tank so I could get the new heat pump ready to go. Saved me a ton on install cost and just in time for the hottest day we’ve had this year. IMG_7584.jpg IMG_7585.jpg IMG_7586.jpg

It was an exciting day at the tenant house I have been doing a lite rehab on.

After pulling up the 30 year old carpet there was 60 year old tiles.

    20250626_175523.jpg

    Gold sparkles and all.

    20250626_175530.jpg

The tiles popped up quite easily - except around the perimeter where the carpet was stapled down - very well stapled I might add.

The carpet installers will be here Tuesday. :spending:

They look like they're 9x9 tiles. On campus, that's a pretty good indicator that they have asbestos.
