I’ve heard this is a good method. My mom has a big problem with them, I know there’s a bunch of hearsay about the “paper bag hornet nest” decoy to intimidate the carpenter bees into thinking the territory is spoken for. But my mom swears by it that she saw a drop in them after putting a few up.

That's what I want too, not for edc but to have something my wife can manage in an emergency. She's more likely to slice her hand open than successfully chamber a round in my Springfield xdm .45

 

That's why we got my wife the Shield EZ in 9mm. She can load and fire it and she's not very strong.
