Dang right! I’m glad he’s into shooting, I could care less about sports. Never have cared. I played baseball and basketball as a kid and didn’t care then.

My FIL told me Cole would be shooting three pointers before he killed his first deer. I would tell him he’ll be shooting basketballs with a shotgun before three pointers.

He’s 9 and already killed 3 deer

He's got a pretty good stance.

 

He does, and has a great swing. Baseball is just too slow paced for him. He’s good at it when he tries.

 

My kid wasn't into sports; he tried a couple of times but let's just say it wasn't his calling. And hunting/fishing wasn't his thing either, which didn't bother me...ya just want them happy, right? Luckily, he (somehow) managed to be really smart and now he's doing what he loves. That's all that really matters.

 

I wrestled and played football in high school, every thing that hurts now I can trace back to football. I’m try to keep him away but he loved going to wrestling, and not much in to baseball

That is all that matters, as long as they are happy. We tell our kids we don’t care what they do (to a certain point), we will support them. It’s hard sometimes to try and not steer them where we want them but they have to be themself.

I blink a lot, and it gets worse when nervous or stressed. I'll clamp my eyes shut and scrunch up my whole face at times.

I'll get fidgety as well. Beware the clicky pen.

 

I got adhd so I fidget a lot when I'm not busy. Idle hands and all that.
