Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Mmmmmmmmm, square bales in mid to late August, 200 bales on the trailer and 200 more to be picked up cause rain is coming in, and ricking them things in the barn. Some parts about living on a farm I don’t miss!

 

My pockets are loaded.

Front Left: car keys, 1-2 pens, chapstick, Leatherman Squirt, Fenix E12 flashlight, tape measure (as needed)

Front Right: pocket knife (Benchmade Griptilian currently), cellphone

Back Left or Left Cargo: wallet

Back Right (as needed): gloves, misc

Right cargo: sunglasses

Shirt Pocket (as needed): pen, sharpie, paint marker


The wallet stays in the car during work. Also, it and the cellphone come out of the pockets when I'm driving. I hate sitting on my wallet, as well.

 

I know a lot of you are also fabricators of some form or fashion. How in the world could a jig made item like this end up so out of whack? Had to share @WarFab Armor

 

With the tread on that rubber, does the truck move or does it command the Earth to rotate under it instead?

Bought this today fot $15... used youtube to figure out how to sharpen it.

 

My dad was concerned about the environment long before it was popular, I spent many hours pushing one as a kid.
OK for trimming a flat lawn, brutal if the lawn is overgrown.

Edit: Actually kind of enjoyable for trimming a flat lawn on a not too hot day.

 

Yeah just a small patch here. Not worth a gas lawnmower

 

As long as you don't mow rocks and dirt I believe they stay sharp almost forever.

 

Its flat, no rocks, so should be ok. I just trim the edges i cant get with battery powered weedeater

 

Used to use one as a kid as well. My dad was manual with everything, edging, trimming, everything. I hated it, soon as I got a place with grass I bought everything gas, just to spite him. Down here though, it'd be an everyday job to keep the grass in check with non powered equipment.

I agree, even being made in a jig it could draw and when they took it out it pulled from the stress and they sent it anyway.

 

Seems like their QC didn't take samples out of production and do measurements.

 

Been busy this morning
