I never saw why he was banned on the memorial thread why was he booted?

Where is the memorial thread? I've seen it before but went looking for it and couldn't find it.

Made a trip to South Carolina yesterday, never seen so many newer wrecked Tacoma's in my life, this guy had a lot. Snagged the shell, has windoors on both sides, carpet inside, fold down sliding front window and Thule rack on top.

Guy had his help come move it to mine.







The Thule rack on the truck had a couple brackets, I ask the guy if I could have them and he said yes.



While I was there I bought a storage holder off another one, not sure when they stopped putting them in but my 2020 doesn't have it.....yet.



Cleaned it up yesterday evening.







Thanks to @tacotoe about stopping by a dealer and getting a key, I stopped about an hour and a half away for some lunch and there happened to be a LEER dealer there so I went in, they had the keys in stock for the side windows but not the back one. I paid for it and they are shipping it to me. I got online and found the key for the Thule rack and it should be here next week.

 

Realized it has a power lock on the rear, need to figure out where to wire it into the truck. @Fargo Taco you installed a tailgate lock didn’t you, where do these two wires go??????

I bet looking at the topper with carpet kit and rack up top, new would be a little over $3k
Nice score!!! I called one of the topper sales places around me years ago. Was looking for one for my 93 K1500, the guy told me what a new one cost, then gave me a number for a guy that just traded his truck for newer one but his topper would fit mine. I called the guy and he said he just hung up the phone to run a add in the paper. I said call them back, I'll pick it up on the weekend. Like new $600.00

I priced a new one when I got the truck, it was around $3,500. I gave $1,000 for this one

 

That's a bargain! I thought my guess might be a little low. Forget what I paid for mine (around 4k+ inc basket). I just have sliding side windows but did get fold down by the cab so I can clean the windows. They're nice to have for sure. The storage box will be nice too! I recall a thread on here how to put locks on those storage box, but with a topper it's a no never mind.

Good eye Rusty. I missed that bumper...I may have tried to come home with the entire truck

 

I started to ask how much for the bumper but I didn't have enough cash with me to take it home plus it's 2 1/2 hours one way to go back. I also looked at mine sitting next to it and decided I liked the looks of mine.......for now

 

I got my white topper from a guy who buys aclb's from fleets and sells the toppers seperately. I pulled up in my dclb and he was like, wow I honestly didnt know Toyota made this truck with the 6 foot bed. Oh wow and the back angle of the cab matches perfectly. Paid 5 bills, felt like I did pretty good.

 

Sweet

When I got my Tundra there was a left over '18 Tacoma on the lot that had the storage bins, and the '19s did not.

 

I've considered a tailgate lock but haven't pulled the trigger on one. Sorry.

 

We must have lost a phase in our building. Lights are on up front but not in my area. Computers are shut down, too.

And it just started to rain.

Might as well pack it up and go home!
