I put away my snow blower weeks ago... :anonymous:

I hope we don't get any winter weather and the salt that comes with it. New truck isn't coated yet. Guess I'll be taking the Subaru again...

I'm getting the truck out this week, the insurance wakes up in March but the weather wasn't that great.

Part of the delay was I have to do the big Spring service and inspection, seems like a lot of work... :pout:

Went to the dealer today for coolant and spark plugs.
 Damn Sam, they are proud of the plugs...

Well, I mean they're 100K mile plugs, sooo yea. The ones for the Subaru are pretty spendy as well. They're supposed to be done at 60K and mine has over 65K... :anonymous:

Not looking forward to pressure washing and scrubbing the frame and applying Cosmoline to the frame on the '22, but it has got to be done. I will make sure to wear a respirator this time. Last time I could feel that stuff in my chest for several days. Think I could taste that stuff for a week! o_O

I'm sure you were all super concerned with how this would end - we are now closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for a wee bit of snow, closed Friday for Good Friday.

That makes for a damn short week!

LOL! Yes, they are… I just did 60K and I think this was the most I spent on sparkplugs ever. I haven’t taken a picture yet, but they didn’t look bad for being lifecycle. I had no halos or other unusual identifiers. Pregapped and spot on when checked. Wasn’t bad with just hand tools. (Stubby, 2 12” extensions, torque wrench, and those 10, 12mm and 5/8 plug socket).

Stat. Holidays are my busiest times. Only times all year I actually get to shut things down.

But that would have cost me 8 hours of sick leave. The next 7 days are free!

Both my trucks, the '98 3.4 and the 2009 5.7 have 200k miles on the originals.

I track every tank of gas. They both getting the same mpg as when they were new. I see no reason to fix what ain't broke.

My wife still needs to make it in and my kid still has remote school so I'll be up to wake them up and driver her to work, just like always.

Unless I decide that I can't make it and she will then get the day off, too.

If it was always June-September, my empeegees would be fantastic.

I haven't updated my file for a while but the correlation between gas mileage and temperature was quite surprising.
