It is just "work" that any competent shop can do -- no fancy computer diagnostics are needed here therefore no need to go to the dealer and have the lowest paid guy work on it.

If you have a trusted independent shop I would send them the work.

A regular tire shop might actually be better, they do this every day.

You might give it a try at home first, if you can get one off you can take it to NAPA and match it up.

You might end up getting most of them off and the shop will only need to do a few for you.

Another day, another estate sale, $20 for both.

I don't need the aerator but I'm betting I can convert it to a box blade.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Even Great Tire shops have employees that do the dumbest things.

Having no clue I knew the owner for most of 30years . The tech was 100 % positive my wheel was cracked never took the time to air up the tire or remove the tire .

The tire was cracked so very close to the bead.

The tech was so very shocked the next morning When Joe and I were drinking coffee with the removed tire in front of the desk.

They have multiple locations in Fargo and more throughout the state, review very well on Google, have been in business since 1960 and the times that I've used them in the past, they've been great. I didn't hesitate when I sent her there.
This would be FOUR employees that did dumb things. Hence my confusion over the entire ordeal.

I say give it a shot....GENTLY. If they all come off easy, then great, crack open a beer and enjoy the praise. If any are stubborn or not cooperative then stop before you do damage and bring it to a shop. You can feel good that you tried and did the best that you could with what you have for resources and save money for your niece, if it is possible.

I’m with @RustyGreen on this one, I would try it yourself. A proper sized socket and breaker bar won’t cost you too much and is handy to have in the tool box anyway. Hit all the lugs with some PB Blaster or whatever penetrating oil spray you prefer, let sit overnight and see what happens. Using the breaker bar won’t subject the lugs to the shock that an impact wrench will so the caps may hold up better if they are a little “snug”.

My Tire guy had one location to look at his place you would think no big deal just a average 3 bay shop .

What most people never knew He had several huge Potato storage buildings filled with Paid for Truck and Car tires when They got a load of tires the Check was written by the next day.

Allowing them to under sell every one in the valley.

Change them all. I had same issue with my f150. I went to solid lugs, from NAPA. I swapped them out myself. Last thing you want is to cheap out and have a flat somewhere and not be able to change tire. Add tow job, wait for hours possibly. Unless you are covered under insurance its not worth the hassle to save a few bucks.

I think you misunderstood. One way or another they're all getting replaced. I'm not going to have her dealing with this again. The question is do I want to get involved or just let the dealership take care of it.

Based on the little side trip on my way home from work, I've decided to give them a shot.

Worst case, I'll make it a few in and say screw it.

And I'm not sure if I should take this as a bad sign or not but there was a crash in the garage. I went out to investigate and was greeted by this.

That tool rack has been up there for 10 years diligently doing its job then it just gave up and snapped.

You should be able to figure out the metrics… MUCH of this stuff is regularly available at various auto parts houses (Dorman is a prominent aftermarket product maker) as well As Amzn

I have a link to the correct bolts.

    https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NOE610632

Almost all of them on Amazon raise one concern or another. The one in your link has 1 review. Pass. Looking through some of the pictures of others that have hundreds of reviews, the flange on the aftermarket bolt is smaller so you don't get a full seat onto the rim. Pass. That's when I came across the bolts at Napa.

Never got the pattern key when I bought the Truck. Bought 4 cheap sockets & beat them on real tight then went ape shit with the impact. Never bothered tryin’ to separate. Just tossed ‘em in the scrap metal can.

Oh, I wasn’t implying those. I just meant if you checked the threads and length, you’ll find more options. Also, that Dorman is available via other places. Shop around and you may score a bulk buy deal. I once got a box of 10 packages for what I would have paid for one package (grommets).

Did you check the jack/tire iron area of your truck? Mine was zip tied to the factory lug wrench
