I have a question, how many people know why most doors for commercial applications are double beveled? Only about 6 people in the company I worked at knew why.

If you get lucky you will find it with the rest of his toys. at least he is learning what we all do. Setting it down and looking for a couple hrs on our own. At least you got someone to blame it on

I'm assuming strength. Flat metal is weak, bends make them stronger.

I think I'm more disappointed that you only have one.

I could understand if it was a yard stick...they aren't making them any longer.

I know I’m disappointed in myself as well. I’m overflowing with 6” calipers. But only one tape measure :anonymous:

Stay at home mom. That means I need to replace it. And they don’t make the Extreme version of the Fat Max tape measure anymore.

Actually the panel has the DBL bevel for the smoke seal so it doesn't become hinge bound. This is on hollow metal frame. Sometimes people miss order and hang a single bevel and the door wants to bind or pop open. One fix to get by with having the seal in this case and pass fire code is to split it and have a single layer so it closes. Providing it is hung properly.and the sheetrockers didn't f it up.

I think I may have one, but it is duel units version. I don't care for the either or u its, so it sits I'm my drawer doing nothing.
