I only liked that because it isn't your problem -- I hope. :fingerscrossed:

That's quite a spread good luck. The last time I had a vehicle in the body shop was June 22 when I was rear-ended by a driver on her phone. The insurance company wouldn't let the shop bring in the taco till all parts were in to keep car rental to a minimum.

They want to tear into the car to see if there's anything further in that needs to be replaced then the insurance guy will do his thing and parts will be ordered. Once they've disassembled the car, they don't put the broken parts back on so they keep it until it's fixed. They estimated that it will more than likely be 2 weeks.

On the plus side, he doesn't drive it that much - we're coming up on 2 years in a few months and it doesn't even have 4,000 miles on it yet. I work on campus and half the time he doesn't come home, anyway, so it won't be a huge issue to be a car down for a while.

Well this was fun. Turned my CNC mill on this evening and way oil began pissing out from behind the spindle. Probably pissed a quart of way oil into my coolant tank.

With the picketing signs and the shootouts it reminds me of the workers union formations/protests and the mobs involvement as muscle in an attempt to suppress the unions from rising up. I love those old cars. Also makes me think of the prohibition movie Lawless. Nice work!

    Good morning everyone :hattip:

Saw my first “Solar Eclipse 4/8/24” “Expect Delays” flashing sign. Forecast for my area is now guessed to be clear, this ought to be a fun weekend..

I heard the local motel (that has a history of cockroach infestation) is charging $1,000+ a night  Make it while you can, I guess.

But on a happier note, snow expected to start this evening and last until tomorrow evening, 12-16”.

Those are cool, thanks for sharing!

I am not an artist, my wife can draw anything though. I can't draw a straight line using a straight edge as a guide :anonymous:

That's what my wife tells me, I tell her it's just work to me, not art. I can see what you mean though and thank you. I'm blessed with talent to make "stuff"

the body shop I took my truck to had 140 cars in line in front of me. If I wanted them to do the work they said I wouldn't have my truck back until sometime in June!
