Amazing! I’m struck at the variations in color and definition!

My only experience with direct viewing was years ago heading up to Rangeley ME. Giant blob of green that grew more intense the further north we got. No striations either.

It was pretty amazing. It’s the second time in my life I’ve been able to see them. The other time was back in my high school days, living in Dalton, Ga near the Tennessee state line. Both times it was the pink color.

We could see lots of shimmering, but not a ton of colors. The cameras picked up the colors better. Our youngest was out taking some pics, so I'll see what he got.

Even though I was up at 11:00pm and 3:00am, the city is too bright to see anything. And I was too unmotivated to go for a drive to get to some dark skies. Loving the pictures people are posting, though!

Hen party for 30 inside today, rain outside. Guess who'll be in the shop all afternoon? (Not that it's an unusual place for me to be...) Nice to have a safe space.

As long as it measures in “Atmosphere’s” clearly displayed in Dynes it may be a knock off. o_O

Got phase II ready for deck boards. Not bad considering we didn’t start digging the last 5 holes until yesterday at 4:30 and it was just Cole and I working on it.

We were gonna go 24’ x 32’ but the end would have been so high we decided to go 24’ x 24’.

I’m gonna try to muster up enough energy to go shave and shower. I’m wore out.
