@RustyGreen sorry for your troubles yesterday, hopefully it's a simple fix for ya

There's got to be a stop for ice cream somewhere in there, if not, is that today?

Good morning everybody, have a great day!

Back in high school I had a buddy with a Gremlin. He had dropped a 360 in it because the 4 cylinder was weak lol.

Took my 1971 Triumph TR6 in for an inspection once. Looked up from the waiting area to see the car and the mechanic heading down the road. Hmmm, never had anyone actually take one of my vehicles out for a test drive during an inspection before. They never did that with my 94 Mazda B4000. Then they mechanic comes in and tells me that it did not pass inspection. I ask why. He says that it has an oil leak and holes in the body. I ask him to show me. He points out the"holes" and they are from the factory weep holes for moisture to escape in the rocker panels under the car. I mean it wasn't rusted and the metal clearly was cut in a uniform half circle. It was clear that the "holes" had not been cut after the car left the factory. As for the oil leak, these cars leaked oil from the day they drove off the lot. I did not return...ever....for anything.

Crazy weekend just wrapped up. Wife's side family reunion on Sunday meant we had a niece, her husband (nephew in law?), their 18 month old daughter, and identical twin 8 month old daughters stay with us Friday to Monday. Fun, but busier than I'm used to. :)

Saturday the fellas went to a local car show. I didn't take a single picture. Tons of cambered up ricers with airbags and stretched tires. Some very impressive (and expensive) builds, but if it won't drive down the road decent, I don't really get it. I'm probably just old.:notsure:

My buddy had the Pacer!! The three on the tree was an experience

I guess the 360 wasn’t in keeping with the intended fuel efficiency.

We got a call Friday from the power company saying they were going to be trimming trees with a helicopter and our power may go out. Wife just called me and said the power flickered and she can hear a helicopter.

I've never seen trees trimmed with a chopper but I'm assuming they use one like this.
