I still have the old 8 footers on the storage side. I kept the good ballasts from the shop side, and still have most of a box of bulbs, so they'll be there awhile yet. o_O

So, I have my lines on order and will be picking them up tomorrow.

I YT the procedure and couldn’t find anything on the Gen 2.5. I got the two line retaining bolts off, scoped out the union bolt and two clamps that need to come off. The pressure side that has the flare that screws into the rack is a problem.

It’s not too corroded so I sprayed it down with some aero-kroil, my go to penetrant, to sit over night. Regardless if it works, getting a wrench on it looks impossible to swing. There’s too much around it.

I’m thinking after confirming I get the right set of lines, I might try to cut the line so I can get a socket on it. But even then it’s gonna suck.

I’m open to any suggestions for:
    1) Getting that fitting off, and
    2) Torquing the new one down if I get to that step.

I think I might post this over in the 2nd Gen forum..

    Thanks in advance!

The old 8 footers worked, there just wasn't enough of them.
Also to turn them on you had to screw in the fuses... :annoyed:
...and the outlets were on the same 2 fuses. :frusty:

    In one of these:

    anxt01p077a41.jpg

With this amazingly stupid setup you not only had to try not to break your neck getting to the fuse box in the dark - you also couldn't leave a battery charger on overnight without leaving the lights on. :goingcrazy:

If you have replacement lines to put on cut the old one off right at the fitting with a nice sharp chisel, then you can use a 6 point socket or box wrench on the fitting.

So in the last few days since meeting with the financial advisor, he's changed the kind of account we have with them so he can make changes as our accounts have sat there untouched for about 12 years.

They have their "acceptable" and "preferred" ranges for diversification and ours were outside the preferred ranges.

I assumed he'd sell off some of the investments that were on the high side and buy some that were low.

Instead, he's sold off every single share of everything we have to cash and skipped out to the Cayman Islands.

At least that's what it felt like he was going to do when I looked at the account yesterday when it was 100% cash.

As of this morning, new transactions have gone through and everything is in their "preferred" ranges. Now to see if the returns are as promised. Well, as much as one can promise for something like investments. And weather.
