Oh boy! Waiting on Rusty getting up and daybreak

I actually had some of those BFG's put on my aunts SLK230 that I was seeing after for a bit. When it was warm out you could literally hear them sticking to the road

That was a fun little car. 4 cylinder supercharged and 6 speed manual



Anyways, what was I talking about? Oh yea. I'm trying to go with something more all season-ish if I need to drive it in the snow. I really hate to, but there's no real reason not to. The Conti's and General's seems to tick the box for what I need to do.

Just ordered a 5 pack of the Motul Gear 300 75w90 gear oil to swap out the transmission/rear diff. No clue if it has been done. Had to order a T-70 socket for the drain plug on the transmission. Out of all the tools I have, I didn't have that one. While it's up in the air might as well do some Wool Wax. Rear sub-frame is a little scaly so want to slow down that process.

Walked out into the garage this morning, looked around. Man, it looks like a bomb went off. I guess I know what I'm doing today

 

A friend did that with a grill after tailgating and the embers stoked and set his silverado on fire on the highway. It was totaled.


All this surgery talk, I'm getting hernia surgery Thursday. I'm pretty sure I've had them for a long while, but they didn't bother me and my Doc wasn't worried about them because they didn't. They started bothering me recently (uncomfortable) and we maxed out our out of pocket on insurance, so now's a good time to get it done.

Got a notification my gear oil already shipped last night. Dang! Checked tracking and it's being shipped via FedEx. Oh boy

 

You got time to clean the garage, the gutters, go on vacation, paint the house, get a colonoscopy, and some other stuff before it shows up

 

Think I'm gonna pass on that one

 

Might be there tomorrow...might show up in 2 weeks

 

Says Wednesday. Right now in the Illinois hub, not exactly sure which hub it goes to next. Things are really weird right now. Not using it until next weekend so hopefully my T-70 socket shows up as well.

I just got to the garage, met with some friends for an early morning breakfast & gab.

Good thing too, I woke up in the chair at 3:55 this morning and went to bed.

If I hadn't had the breakfast appointment I would probably be sleeping in the chair at the moment.
