    So do I.
I have a friend who could sell a Frigidaire to an Eskimo and get him to buy the service contract too -- I bring him along on the big ticket stuff, I don't say a word just let him do the talking.

A long time ago for me to, always was a bit of rub with me that it was required reading in order to graduate. I don't think I read the whole book, just because.
There were several others I read. One of my favorites was This Perfect Day. Ira Levin
That read made me value freedom

Do y’all use the paper towel + magnet trick to clean metal shavings out of the garage floor? I need a detached garage/shop, would love to have one!

At my old job apparently they had never heard of unistrut, I spent years fixing pipes that randomly fell off walls and ceilings. :annoyed:

Seemed most of the plumbing and electric work was done by drunk monkeys on a Saturday morning after an all night bender. :frusty:

They spliced the wires for a (process) sump pump -- with red wire nuts and then coated them with red high temperature silicone, wrapped their job up in a plastic True Value shopping bag for extra protection and put it in the trench.

Rusty -->> -- -- after i excavated this monument to ineptitude from the trench.

The box with the red circle has 7 auxiliary switches. Only the primary and 1 auxiliary are being used. that leaves 6 open switches.
 wtf.... why... now I get to fix it.:mad::cool::mad::annoyed:

Or: How about a 12 amp motor, on #14 wire, with 25 amp heaters in the starter, on a 30 amp breaker. This was on a mechanical variable speed mixer, the operator could (and did) spool it up to about 20 amps. The custom motor didn't take that too well, expensive rewind.

That's why my buddy and I go VIP when we go to festivals. A lot fewer people are willing to fork out the dough and the dedicated viewing areas are nice. We've been doing Voodoo the last couple years, but it was cancelled last year and this year. We're going to EDC: Las Vegas this year.

I've not done a festival in a long time, at least not a multi-day one and it was a very small one versus what you speak of. Usually I prefer to be in the back if I go to a small venue anyway..mosh pits and me long ago got divorced for a few reasons.

I've never been in a mosh pit. Only concerts that I've been to are dance music.

I have one of these, $8 at Harbor Freight. Anything to save bending down is a good investment to me.

I'm a little skeptical if it was all legit or not, but that's beside the point. It was still very entertaining.

I kinda think it was 97% staged, but the guys were pretty cool and the junk they picked through (or didn't:notsure:) was interesting.
