We didn't tell anyone we were having a girl, our son was 3 at the time. Wife's water broke that night about 11, we call a friend a mile away and she comes and sleeps on our couch while Cole sleeps in his bed. My wife texts both our parents on our way to the hospital telling them to not be in any hurry. We are in a room, my in-laws walk in about 2:30 that morning and not a "hey, how are you?" but the first thing out of my MIL's mouth is "where's Cole, that's the only reason we came?". My wife went off on her, they walked out. I went home about 6:30 that morning to get Cole, walked by them sleeping in the waiting room, came back to my wife with them not even knowing it. Thanks for the reminder Greg, that has my blood boiling again

 

Grandkids are Gods gift. Nothing like seeing a kid that can barely walk trying to run to an old man with a gray beard and hug him.

 

I didn’t realize there’s a gasket in this muffler. That’ll be fun getting out, been in since 1998. I should have paid more attention when I ordered it.

 

My FIL said he wished he could have had grand kids first. I said why, you don’t spend time with them either

 

My in laws were exactly the opposite - they didn't approve that we weren't raising my kids in their religion, which my wife and I were raised in and left, so they took it on themselves to do it.

There is nothing wrong with how I'm choosing to raise my kids - there's no bad mouthing genders/races/colors/ethnicity/beliefs/practices/etc; just be decent to everyone unless that person (not their entire respective group) gives you a reason not to. I don't need to go to church for that. The in laws don't get to decide that I'm doing it wrong and try to take over. So after coming to an understanding that they wouldn't do it anymore, they did it again. Yeah, we're done now. There was a lot more shit leading up to that but that was the proverbial straw.

 

Lol, mine is boiling again too. I told her she was NEVER going to be forgiven for that stunt. I told her that that day was the beginning of “our” family, and I’d protect them against anyone, including her if I had to!

 

Those are a lead type gasket, you could probably get it out to use temporarily without it leaking too bad. Give it a shot of kroil or pb blaster.

 

Thankfully at the time my parents were still in town and her parents weren't complete morons yet so for our first, there was no reason to tell anyone until he was delivered. For the second, he was forcibly removed (C-section) so was scheduled. My mom came over, watched my oldest then brought him up to the hospital later.

 

Checks are old school for the most part now, if they gave you a check they expect you to cash it. Otherwise it would mess up accounting for it. No real need to wait as it takes a few days to clear any how.

 

I can't weld to save my life, but lemme tell ya. Mix up Gcode command G4 and G94 on a CNC machine and youre in for a treat!

 

Package showed up for the lift pump on the dmax. Luckily it’s prewired.

Wow...quite a few rants but I understand. I have some feelings and thoughts and experiences but locking up desk and headed home shortly. I have one Ringo ring done to perfection.that udder is dry time to grab another
