I want to smoke the pork chops in my new smoker. The high of -7 says I'm not leaving the comfort of my house, though.

So I'll be cooking the chops inside instead.

My next Henry will probably be a .308 long ranger they are mag fed, then try to find a 30 round mag because I think it would be hilarious to have a big ole mag out the bottom of a lever gun:infantry:

I've got two Marlin lever guns, .357 and 45-70. Both are fun to shoot, the 45-70 used to be the most expensive to shoot, but these days everything seems to be dollar+ a round.

It is with much grumbling and muttering that I ask this. Due to my boss being a tightwad and saying that our shop isn't a "public toolbox," it's apparently up to each millwright to have their own set of bolt extractors. As apparently it's unreasonable for me to expect the shop to stock left handed drill bits, broken bolt extractors, or even feeler gauges.

Okay, enough ranting; my question is what set of straight flute bolt extractors do you guys have experience with and recommend? I'd prefer to stay off the strap-on truck if I can, but I will go that route if it's recommended enough. I've got a set of Irwin spiral flute extractors that I'm not overly fond of, due to their tendency to deform and bulge the soft metal of the broken bolts I'm usually dealing with.

Why is there a picture of a Chebby on a Tacoma forum?!
Irwin also makes a straight flute set.

Subbed for what people say about this.

I’ve never bought any off the snap on truck or MAC, I’ve used Irwin and craftsman. I’ll get some pictures of them shortly.

The Irwin’s do seem soft, I guess that’s better than a broke one in a broke bolt :D
