On the evening edition of The Clueless Cook I attempted to cook a piece of fish for the first time in my life.
Damn, that was gruesome -- even by my low standards. Almost >>>

The highlight of the meal was by far the leftover store brand instant potatoes.

 

Going to Hawaii for my wife's conference, we're used to it.

Keeps the riffraff out.

 

Busy day, finished getting leaves up, let the kids play for a minute. Cleaned gutters, repaired a broken shingle, painted the store door and installed the new screen door, painted the out building doors, took Cole hunting and didn’t see anything, waiting to close the store and eat with the in-laws.

 

You've definitely got your moneys worth outta that roof!

 

Yeah it needed replacing 10 years ago.

 

Come to think about it, you got several quotes if I recall correctly? Guess with selling it all now that kinda got pushed to the wayside. Just knock off a couple dollars if the prospective buyers wanna get ticky...

I bought this place 28 years ago, the roof came with the house. About 20 years ago the shingles started crumbling so I painted them with silver roof coat like is used on mobile homes.

It seemed to freeze the shingles in time, they quit crumbling. It gets gray looking every few years and I put another coat on. Whatever roof gets put on eventually will outlast me.

 

You'd squeeze a buffalo off a nickle wouldn't you?

 

I still have the cheech and Chong album with the larger than life rolling paper….

 

It would have taken an oz of weed to fill it
